I love walking the parks of China slurping my bubble tea, looking at scenery, hear birds chirping, watch pple singing, dancing, exercising , taichi-ing, wushu-ing, makes u feel not lonely, best park in the world.

LianZi (蓮子) is the seed of the Lotus. After the lotus blooms (lovely flower), it forms the round dish-like seed pod with individual seed pockets. Removing the seed shell reveals a white round seed kernel. Lianzi is commonly used in sweet deserts, either in liquid bisque or as filling in pastries. It is has a nutty flavor and smooth starchy texture.

Nice! Lotus flower seeds are used in many recipes. Most often in moon cakes and hot pots. The seeds have a black outer shell. Removing that you get a purple skinned seed, and removing the purple skin you get a white seed full of starch. They have unearthed lotus seeds buried underground for 700 to 1000 years and the seeds germinated and flowered!

A lady was practising her violin in a Shanghai park. We were on holiday there and thought she was busking. My sister gave her some money but the violinist picked up the money and returned it to my sister. : )

I like this video about the morning activities of the ordinary Chinese city folks and the healthy leisure life style they are engage in that are different for us. Furthermore, the background lake scenery is awesome huge clean and well maintain. This is not the China that is portrayed by the mainstream medias of polluted blackish water, hazy sky dirty streets etc. Thumb up for the good job done. Show us more about the positive sides of the country.

OMG, the dancing ladies, middle-aged and seniors, they keep on dancing and dancing with their loud music, wakes me up at 6AM in the morning on the weekends, and does not stop until midnight. I had to move out of my luxury company-paid apartment to a new place in Hang Zhou because of them.

yes, I actually talk to some of them, and it turns out they work 365 days around year to keep our street clean and they do not complain much about it. I must respect their work a lot from now on.
