Does China have highways?

Highway? I am wondering what is highway? Of course we don’t have that. As everybody knows in the world. All Chinese are playing Chinese kongfu and we all have flying skill with a body as light as a swallow’s. So normally we are flying out and flying back everyday in daily-life.
I will show you some photo about the way of flying.

Liu Yang Your question almost makes me laugh uncontrollably. I don’t know whether it’s resulted from the influence of western media or your ignorance about China. China has the second longest high way in the world, and the longest high way being built. China has the longest high speed railway which moves 200–350Km/h. What’s more, it even takes possession of more than 65% (date from Dec 2016)high speed railway of the whole world. Even though high ways and high speed railways are different, but it can prove that China is very strong in transportation. You ought to refresh your impression on China or change your information source to know China more and more correctly. Please forgive my offence, for I really can’t believe your misunderstanding about China and I’m not a native speaker, which makes it difficult for me to express my self clearly in English. Anyway, I’m glade more and more people began to want to know more about China, which is a spirited country growing rapidly. Yan Zou No I don’t think so. In a country where trains travels at the speed of 200 miles per hour, you don’t have to drive twelve hours for a distance from New York City to Chicago. All you need is to bring a book and enjoy it during a 5-hour trip. So why bother driving yourself? Well, of course China has highways. but taking a train is usually considered the main mid-distance transportation method. Shanglun Wang Despite what many believe in the West, China has achieved a high level of growth using traditional methods of production perfected over five thousand years ago. Western economic theories has always posited that the development of logistic systems commensurate with the level of economic activity is key to sustained growth. However, China's has built an economy to rival the US using nothing more than mud roads and oxcarts by leveraging 你真傻, an accounting and pathfinding system that makes masterful use of astronomical signals. There is much wisdom in the wind and the mountains. Perhaps we can all learn from that. Bunny Wang You must be kidding me! By the end of 2016, there are total 131K km of highway in China, which is the world’s largest national highway system by length. In 2017, 5K km of highway is under construction by schedule. China highway system has connected 98% of the cities which populated larger than 200K (more than 300 cities). China is also the world’s biggest and fast-growing auto market as well. According to the data from JATO Dynamics, in 2016, China kept leading in world auto market with a 25.53 million of sales volume and an incredible 14% annual growth rate, followed by US and Europe with a sales volume of 17.75 million and 17.08 million. The world’s biggest auto market happened to have the world’s largest highway system, does that make sense to you? Jack Shu There is a famous proverb in China: Transportation mainly depends on foot, Communication mainly depends on roar, Security mainly depends on dogs, Heating mainly depends on shake. So, what’s high way? Ok, the translation maybe not good, it’s just a joke. I have been to Guangdong, Zhejiang, jiangsu, Hebei, Beijing and Sichuan province. Borned in Sichuan, and lived in jiaxing city, zhejiang province for over 7 years. I think highway is developed in coastal province, recently years the highway is develping fast in Chengdu, an import city in Southwest of China. Traffic jams are big problems and getting worse due to private cars increasing in intensity. Thanks to the free ring express way in Chengdu, my daily life gets better.
