Mate do you know how much a AAA game costs to make? Have you ever made even a small game? You clearly have no idea how a videogame is made. Why would an investor give you any money if you have no understanding of gamedev and no history in it? How are you going to pay people at that level of skill? Why would developers, designers, animators etc work for free on something that requires the level of work of a full-time job? Think realistically.

You want to throw millions of dollars and years or work into something you have no idea will even sell?
Maybe get a team together and make something tiny on a shoestring budget. There are free tools that can help you make some excellent games. Start small dude. Rome wasn't built in a day.

Yes i clearly said I am a newbie and I have no shame admiting, Im surprised by the response of this thread. I am well aware its not an easy task and not a one man job thats why I said I need a team, I need people with this same dream. I am very aware of the odds but I still wish to try, Thankyou for you. And as of why investor would give me money, thats why I need a team, I need to find the logistics and I am confident in my capabilities to sell and network. I can provide political suporrt as well as I said above. But again, nonetheless i am a newbie but I still would like to try

Dreams don't pay the bills. No amount of confidence will make up for your lack of skills or resources. Noone with any experience will buy your idea. You have no history of implementation. You have shown that you don't even know what it takes to make pong let alone a AAA game. Ideas are a dime a dozen and yours isn't new. There are posts like yours everyday from people who are completely out of touch and haven't done their homework. Just because its not manual labor with large, loud machines it doesn't mean it isn't as hard and expensive.
You saw wukong and had your mind blown but did you look into the company that built it? Gamedev is not a joke. If you're so passionate start a gamedev company and see if it lasts 2 years. Your surprise at the response shows that you're out of touch.
Start small and achieve some success before you think about AAA games in an industry as saturated as this one.

This small-mid scale project can be a basic introduction to the Universal form of "God" in form of "Maa Bhavani" whom Shivaji worshipped. We can show her as Omnipresent energy in a very large scare. Something like Galactus of Marvel.

You will need millions of dollars to reach that level of production value. No Indian game has ever been a true AAA game. Raji was a decent game by Indian standard but it was indie game

If your really want to do it I would suggest you to make like a indie game a small one that's focused on one small story and see how the market react to your idea. and go from there.

Yes, that's exactly what I'm thinking. Not every game needs to be based on ancient history, and games from India don't necessarily have to focus on historical themes. The main focus should be on making the gameplay fun

Because why not? I beleive the market is huge for Mythology and Warrior themes. Ghost of Tsushima, God of war, Elder rings, Black Myth. You name it buddy. And I have been studying History and Mythology of all the culture since last 5-6 years. The potention Indian Mythology has is seriously unrecognized. And Pls re read my Thread. I said I want to make a AAA mythology title but Ill start with Historical non controversial small event. Obviously that is the "indie" thing.. And thankyou for your advice I wont start anything big, I am studying the logistics and the market, I will start with a small project with a USP first.

Who is in this 'No-one'? You, and? Guess what, Chinese mythology was also extremely neglected outside of a few mentions of 'Journey to the West' and 'Shaolin' and Black Myth Wukong changed that. Even after that, it is still not in mainstream 'zeitgeist' because it takes consistent iterations to build a base. Interest in a topic does not rise from nothingness. You have to build something to generate the interest. Why do trailers and marketing campaigns exist for movies and video games? Their sole purpose is to generate excitement and India as whole is nowhere in the mainstream gaming which creates a HUGE opportunity. This doesn't mean every upcoming game based in India or that comes out of India will be a success, BUT you have to start somewhere because these things take time. Behind every popular Norse/Greek/Roman/Egyptian mythology games, there are countless that are in grave.

Counter example - Every freakin' person that played Assassin's Creed wanted the series to be set in Japan for the longest time and it's just happening this year - 12+ years after peak AC in terms of influence. Markets do not, always, immediately run after 'trends' as it's completely based on perceived importance of a topic. Also, to create that 'trend', there has to be that topic in the discussions in the first place and India is again, nowhere seen. That doesn't mean there's no interest, but there is no baseline player pool to begin with.

AAA game if you have enough funding and facilities bro, btw do you know why developers of GOW has to cancel plans of used Indian epics mythology just because the backlash they get from making out their own story and killing gods of ancient India, instead they now chosen Egyptians mythology for next installment. you said we have to generate interest about indian mythology. in my whole life I've seen soo many indian mythology tv series, animated series, comics movies etc even after soo many of these things did it not generate "INTEREST" for indian mythology in indian people or people outside india.
and you said "games need marketing" which is correct I'm not denying that but marketing will only bring people to the game. if the game is stupid no one is gonna play it for example take among us that game did so little marketing and I'm sure u heard about that game from your friends not advertisement you saw on youtube.
