That's not correct, Stellantis is centralizing their production. The Italian State is not happy about it because currently Stellantis is not giving the italian production sites a priority. So, multiple production sites in italy are not in use. The state was threatening Stellatis to inappropriate 2 historic car brands (Innocenti, Autobianchi) and offer the brands to cinese manufacturer if they agree to produce the cars in italy.

But It's also to be expected when these companies try to run ANYTHING. If a hedge fund is running something -- you best believe it is going to be bean counted into the ground.
